Grappling with a genetic hearing loss disorder, a young filmmaker seeks answers for how to cope with her inevitable deafness. To connect with her hearing-impaired family, she embarks on a road trip across the country with her grandma, mother, and sister in search of her great-grandmother’s memorial. Along the drive, the three generations explore their past, present, and future on the road to silence.

Molly Fox

Molly Fox is a filmmaker and journalist completing a B.A. In Film Production and a Bachelor's of Journalism with an emphasis in documentary and photojournalism. Though she found her start in the creative world with a passion for fiction writing and film, her experience at MU has given her a love for telling real stories through documentary and journalism. After graduation, she plans to expand her education with a master's degree and pursue a career in one of the many storytelling mediums. Born and raised in Columbia, Molly is excited to bring her film to her hometown theater.
