Madison McMillen is a documentary filmmaker and multimedia journalist from Kansas City. Originally intending to take the more traditional writing and reporting route, she decided last minute to follow  her bent towards the creative and took a chance on the newly-combined photo and documentary emphasis. Over the past two years, she’s worked as a staff photographer and photo editor for the Columbia Missourian, before eventually working as the Associate Director of Photography. McMillen graduates with her degree in Photo and Documentary Journalism in May 2023.
